Abigail Harper Deputy Director System Safety and Mission Assurance  Abby Harper is the Deputy Director of the System Safety and Mission Assurance at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. She joined NASA in 1984 as a quality engineer and served in a number of positions within the Directorate, including Chief for the Offices of Assurance Management and Electronic Parts and Materials. Ms. Harper moved to the engineering directorate in the mid 90's, serving as a system engineer for New Millennium and TRMM Projects. She has held increasingly responsible positions in engineering and technical management of space and earth science projects, most recently as Program Manager for the Solar Terrestrial Probes Program. Ms. Harper holds a BS degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois and a MS Mechanical Engineering from George Washington University. |
