Kenneth O. Schwer Project Manager Solar Dynamics Observatory  Ken Schwer is currently the Project Manager of the Solar Dynamics Observatory, the first Living With A Star mission. Other assignments have included work with the Upper Atmospheric Research Satellite (UARS), Hubble Space Telescope First Servicing Mission, Geostationary Operational Environment Satellite (GOES) program, Quick Scatterometer (QuikSCAT) mission, and the Quick Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (QuikTOMS) mission. While at GSFC, he has been honored with the NASA Exceptional Service & Exceptional Achievement medals, GSFC Flight Projects Mission Impossible Peer Award, and the Aviation Week Laurel Award. |
