Software Engineering Workshop

What: The Software Engineering Laboratory is proud to announce the 26th Software Engineering Workshop. The Software Engineering Workshop (SEW) is sponsored by the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Software Engineering Laboratory (SEL) and the IEEE Computer Society. Each year software practitioners from around the world attend this forum to share experiences and exchange ideas on the measurement, use, and evaluation of software methods, models, and tools. Keynote Speaker will be Al Diaz, Center Director

Director's Colloquium

Who: Mr. Ira Chaleff, executive coach, management consultant and author of the book, "The Courageous Follower: Standing Up to and for Our Leaders."

What: Caleff will talk about the dynamics of interpersonal relations in the workplace, focusing on courageous followship that allows conflict to be kept at a minimum and problem solving kept at a maximum.

Code 295, Application and Development Br. Award Presentation and EOY Celebration

What: Goddard employees are invited to the Code 295 Quarterly Award Presentation and End of the Fiscal Year Celebration. This event will recognize Code 295 employees and others and will have a variety of fine international and regional cuisines, lovely music and fellowship.

Children's Holiday Party

What: GEWA's annual Children's Holiday Party is open to children ages 0-8 years who are children, stepchildren, foster children, or grandchildren of Goddard employees (government & contractor), detailees, or retirees. This year's party will include a personalized gift from Santa, color photo, magic show, clowns, and more for only $7 per child ($1 per adult).

When/Where: Saturday, December 8, from 12 noon til 5 p.m. in the bldg. 8 auditorium. Hurry -- Registration ends December 4th!
