EOS: ScienceDaily.com and Environmental News Network featured articles and images on the results from the study which revealed a slight global air temperature increase due to human influence. The study was conduct by Dr. James Hansen of GISS and other researchers.

Outreach: SunSpot.net (Anne Arundel Co.) featured an article on Goddard scientist becoming apart of the classroom by providing hands-on teaching to students. Dr. Robert Gabrys of Code 130 is quoted in the article explaining how Anne Arundel County Schools will set the example to bring the program to a larger scale. Some schools in Carroll County, Frederick County and Montgomery County will be participating the this program in the upcoming school semesters.
