Appalachia Christmas Drive Update

Due to current security requirements and associated vehicle inspections, the location for this year's Appalachia Christmas Drive, scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 11, has been relocated to the Visitor Center. A truck will be parked in the Visitor Center Parking Lot from 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. to receive donations. Donations of clean usable clothing, household goods, canned food and toys will be distributed to needy mountain families who are among the poorest in the country. Securely bag or box loose or fragile items to ensure their safe arrival.
