HHT Training
What:
Dr. Norden Huang of the Goddard Institute for Data Analysis (GIDA)
has developed a new analysis method, the Hilbert-Huang Transform
(HHT), for the analysis of nonlinear and nonstationary data. Because
of HHT's apparent wide applicability and at the request of GSFC
civil servant staff members, GIDA will offer training classes for
Goddard civil servants. Since HHT uses MatLab, any employees interested
in this training must be fluent in MatLab and able to bring their
own MatLab Basic, MatLab Data Analysis, and Graphics toolbox programs
to the training session.
When/Where:
Training classes will be conducted in the GSFC computer training
facility in building 1. The three day course is scheduled for January
22, 23, & 24, 2001. Staff members most likely to use this technology
are encouraged to register for this training. Space will be limited
to sixteen participants in this training session.
