Jack Ng to
Present at Today's Scientific Colloquia
Jack Ng is today's
colloquia speaker from the University of Carolina. Ng will discuss
the topic, "Quantum Foam" Ng will discuss how vibrations
produced by quantum foam are almost within range of detection with
modern gravitational-wave interferometers. The University's quantum
foam scenario is consistent with Hawking's estimate of black hole
lifetime and the theoretical bound on the amount of information
that can be stored in a spatial region.
The colloquium
is at 3:30 p.m. in the Goett (bldg. 3) auditorium. Access
