Scientific Colloquium

Jack Ng to Present at Today's Scientific Colloquia

Jack Ng is today's colloquia speaker from the University of Carolina. Ng will discuss the topic, "Quantum Foam" Ng will discuss how vibrations produced by quantum foam are almost within range of detection with modern gravitational-wave interferometers. The University's quantum foam scenario is consistent with Hawking's estimate of black hole lifetime and the theoretical bound on the amount of information that can be stored in a spatial region.

The colloquium is at 3:30 p.m. in the Goett (bldg. 3) auditorium. Access to this colloquium is limited to those holding Goddard badges or official visitors until further notice. For information about the scientific colloquia, go to: http://lheawww.gsfc.nasa.gov/users/djt/colloq/
