Spinoff 2001 Special Millennium Feature

NASA's Office of Aerospace Technology, Commercial Technology Division's annual publication on technology commercialization is now available for distribution. An important part of NASA's Strategic Plan is to make scientific and technological advances that not only benefit our Nation's Space Program but also enhance our quality of life and strengthen our economy. This year's Special Millennium issue highlights a variety of commercial successes and benefits resulting from the transfer of NASA technology to the private industry, as well as, each center's most noteworthy spinoff since the inception of the technology transfer program.

Many of these exciting technologies have included advances in ceramics, computer technology, fiber optics, and remote sensing.
