TEAMS Competition Held at Visitor Center

On May 2, 2002, 300 students, 34 teams from 18 Maryland schools met at the Visitor's Center to participate in the second annual TEAMS (Technology Education Alliance with Middle Schools) competition. Delegate Barbara Frush- District 21 and Mr.Diaz congratulated the students during the awards ceremony. Parents, teachers, and numerous volunteers watched as the students used their teamwork and engineering skills to design, develop, and operate successful teams of robots.
