OHR Academy Awards

This year's, Office of Human Resources (OHR) awards ceremony was a Five-Star performance that would give Oscar a run for the money. "The Academy Awards" theme was selected in celebration of the organizations recent accomplishments and was an extravaganza complete with red carpet, formal attire, movie clips, and a Green Room reception. Even the paparazzi were present to catch a glimpse of celebrities such as Humphrey Bogart (Director of, Jerry Simpson) and Lauren Bacall (Linda Letellier).


Awards were presented for:
  • Outstanding Team Work & Process Improvement - On-line Training Calendar Team, Janine Dolinka, Kathy Fontaine, Sean Hoover, Keith Lowe and Melodia Parks, recipients
  • Superior Customer Service - Tammy Bolden, Regina Keegan and Kara Zaimis, recipients
  • Rookie of the Year - Regina Keegan, recipient
  • Supervisor/Group Leader of the Year - Debbie Parsons, recipient
  • Navigator - for NASA Stars Implementation, Ann Richmond, recipient

A good time was had by all with certificates presented for fun awards such as the "Coolest Car," received by Cooperative Office Education (COE) student, Philip McPhail, in recognition of his personally customized Honda civic with body kit.

Everyone came up a winner, in the new OHR Diversity Achievement category, as each OHR employee was presented with an "OHR Dedicated to Diversity" lanyard and diversity pledge card for contributions made to an organization committed to valuing diversity. OHR is dedicated to recognizing, accepting, and appreciating the unique differences among individuals so that productivity in the work place is maximized through teamwork and innovation.
