Mac User
Group Meeting
What:
The Mac User Group will be meeting will begin with a 30 minute discussion
about current Mac Working Group items followed by 2 hours or so
of Michael Mills from Apple going over OS X Administration and Basics.
This will include a question and answer session. Mr. Mills' discussion
will include the following:

Finite
Element Modeling Continuous Improvement (FEMCI) Workshop
What:
The FEMCI workshops brings together engineers from the aerospace
community to discuss topics in the fields of finite element modeling
and structural mechanics. The workshop will feature poster presentations,
vendors, and prepared presentations on innovative solutions to challenging
structural analysis problems encountered in aerospace hardware development
and test programs. This year's keynote address will be given by
Jon Lawrence and John Mather on "NASA/GSFC Scientific Goals
and Opto-Mechanical Challenges of the Next-Generation Space Telescope
(NGST)."
When/Where:
The 3rd annual "FEMCI Workshop on Innovative Solutions to Challenging
Problems" will be held at the NASA/GSFC Visitors Center on
May 22-23, 2002.

IFM Expo
What:
The Goddard Integrated Financial Management Program (IFMP) is presenting
an IFM EXPO to communicate information on the various modules of
IFMP to the Goddard workforce. This is an informal face-to-face
opportunity for Goddard employees to interact with senior leaders,
and project team members as they learn more about the IFM implementation
at Goddard. All Goddard employees are invited.
