Dr. David Charbonneau to Present at Today's Scientific Colloquia

Dr. David Charbonneau, California Institute of Technology will discuss the topic, " Extrasolar Planets and the Power of the Dark Side." Dr. Charbonneau's presentation will examine the network of telescopes that should detect several dozen such worlds in the next couple years.

Who: Dr. Kip Thorne, California Institute of Technology

What: Dr. Kip is the John C. Lindsay Memorial Lecturer and will speak on the topic entitled, " LISA and LIGO: Probing the Universe with Gravitational Waves."

When/Where: Friday, May 31 in the bldg. 8 auditorium at 3:00 p.m.
