Director's Colloquium

Who: Lt. General Ken Eickmann (Ret) and current director of the Construction Industry Institute

What: Lt. Eickmann will share his experience as key leader in the Federal and State of Oklahoma rescue and recovery efforts following the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City

UNIX Developer Seminar for the MAC

What: Anyone involved with the MAC or with UNIX are invited to invited to attend this presentation on "How do OS X and UNIX work together?" The featured speakers will be Russ Pond and Michael Mills from Apple. This presentation will cover the advantages of UNIX under OS X, UNIIX apps with GCC, X-Windows, JAVA 2, Developing Cocoa apps, AppleScript Studio and AppleSeed Clustering

20th Anniversary of the GAS Flight

What: The Shuttle Small Payloads Project Office is preparing to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the first Get Away Special (GAS) Flight. An Open House will have guest speaker, Mr. R. Gilbert Moore, the first GAS customer.

GEWA Lunchtime Concert

What: Mr. Mark Hubbard of HST Flight Systems & Servicing Project Office, Code 442 will perform with a group called the "20 After." The group plays music covering 4 decades of mostly folk-rock music, such as America, Lowen & Navarro, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, etc.
