Successful HQ and GSFC IFM Expos

The Integrated Financial Management Program (IFMP) conducted two successful Expo events at HQ and GSFC last month. Total attendance exceeded 900. The first in a continuing series of IFM awareness events at these Centers with the intent of the Expos was to provide a face-to-face opportunity for employees to interact with senior leaders and project team members, while learning more about the IFM modules.

The IFM Expo design was similar to that of a trade show. The main room featured booths for each IFM module project. Project team members, functional users, and subject matter experts manned the booths and demonstrated their respective IFM modules, helped users navigate screens, and answered questions. An adjoining room was used for brief project status presentations.

The HQ and GSFC IFM teams were pleased with the attendance and level of participation at these events. The teams received overwhelmingly positive feedback as well as substantive suggestions for additional awareness events. Stay tuned for information about future IFM events!
