UNIX Developer Seminar for the MAC

What: Anyone involved with the MAC or with UNIX are invited to invited to attend this presentation on "How do OS X and UNIX work together?" The featured speakers will be Russ Pond and Michael Mills from Apple. This presentation will cover the advantages of UNIX under OS X, UNIIX apps with GCC, X-Windows, JAVA 2, Developing Cocoa apps, AppleScript Studio and AppleSeed Clustering

20th Anniversary of the GAS Flight

What: The Shuttle Small Payloads Project Office is preparing to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the first Get Away Special (GAS) Flight. An Open House will have guest speaker, Mr. R. Gilbert Moore, the first GAS customer.

When/Where: Thurs. June 27, 2002 at Goddard's Visitor's Center, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

GEWA Lunchtime Concert

What: Corrine Reed-Miller will perform traditional and contemporary folk songs, including her own compositions. Her expressive soprano voice and insightful lyrics have delighted audiences at area coffeehouses. Ms. Miller is employed in the Computing Environments and Technology Branch, Code 585.0. In addition, Eurest Dinning Services, Mr. Tom Miller and Staff invites you to enjoy a summertime cookout, while listening to and enjoying the Lunchtime Concert.
