Development Center Open House Marks Another Milestone for Advances
in Career Development Opportunities at Goddard
The OHR is excited
to announce the Grand Opening of a new full service Professional
Development Center (PDC) located in Building 1, Room L04 (between
the ATM machine and post office). GSFC employees will find full
time career coaches, books, videos, assessments and workstations
providing state of the art resources to optimize career development
and navigation.
An Open House
for the PDC is scheduled for the week of July 15-19, 2002, from
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and is structured to provide opportunities
for you to experience PDC counseling services and use of PDC resources
and tools. The following events will be featured:

The PDC Open
House is a great opportunity to learn more about the tools and resources
available to assist you with your career journey. Come on by, and
meet Michelle McCarthy and Cheryl Palmer, Nationally Certified Counselors
who are providing full time coverage of the PDC to offer confidential
one-on-one and group coaching sessions to GSFC employees. Each day,
the first 50 visitors will receive a free Career Development job
aid gift. And besides, the folk in the Professional Development
Center are just plain outstanding people to hang out with!
