NASA Advanced Sensors Symposium

What: You are invited to attend NASA's Advanced Sensors Symposium (NASS) on new developments and research directions in sensor systems and devices related to America’s space program. This symposium will feature leading researchers and program managers from several NASA centers including Goddard, NASA Headquarters, Kennedy Space Center, Langley Research Center, Glenn Research Center, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Attendees will include corporate business leaders and senior technologists
from large and small companies. If your organization is involved in the
development, manufacture, and integration of sensors or sensor systems, you
may be interested in attending this meeting. You will learn about sensor
developments at NASA and about the opportunities for acquiring or developing
new sensor technologies through partnership with NASA.

When/Where: July 29 - 31, 2002 at the Marriott Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland.
NASS Registration Fee: $220 includes symposium, meals, and receptions.

GEWA Lunchtime Concert

What: A lunchtime performance by Mark Hubbard, HST Flight Systems & Servicing Project Office, Code 442 of the musical group called the "20 After." The group plays music covering 4 decades of mostly folk-rock music, such as written and performed by America, Lowen & Navarro, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, etc.

Eurest Dinning Services, Mr. Tom Miller and staff invites you to enjoy a summertime cookout, while listening to and enjoying the Lunchtime Concert.

When/Where: Thurs., Aug. 1st from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Building 21 cafeteria patio area.

IUE Project Reunion Luncheon

What: Goddard Retirees & Alumni Association (GRAA) invites all members of the International Ultraviolet Explorer (IUE) project and any interested employees to a IUE reunion luncheon. The cost of $9.00 includes food, beverages and desert.
