Representatives from the Japanese Business Mission pose for a group picture in the Director's Conference Room with Deputy Director Bill Townsend and Associate Director Alison McNally. Seated to the right of Mr. Townsend in the picture is Forbes Chairman Caspar Weinberger who served as the 15th Secretary of Defense under President Ronald Reagan. Forbes is sponsoring the Japanese Business Mission's visit to the United States. The Japanese Business Mission includes a number of Chairmen, CEOs, and Presidents of some of Japan's leading high tech companies, including Matsubishi Material Corp., Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.
