High Performance Goddard Teams to Be Honored at Next IFM Program Awards Ceremony

Several Goddard individuals will receive an IFM Program Awards for their excellent work on implementing the IFMP Position Description Management (PDM) module across all NASA centers this past summer. PDM streamlines and automates the position classification system process. It will save managers' and human resources specialists' valuable time when creating and editing position descriptions. Goddard being the the Lead Center for the Agency for PDM, had a dual responsibility as a Receiving Center.

All are invited to attend a special IFMP Awards Ceremony in the James Webb Memorial Auditorium at NASA HQ on Thursday, September 26, beginning at 8:30 AM. A breakfast reception will follow immediately after the ceremony. All NASA Human Resources Directors and other Agency Officials are expected to be in attendance.

Richard Ryan, PDM Project Manager and Keith Lowe, PDM Functional Lead will accept Platinum Awards. Denise Davis, Agency Change Management Lead and Diane Bittner, Agency Technical Lead will accept Gold Awards. Goddard Human Resources specialists Lori Moore and Nelson Rodriguez will join other esteemed members of the PDM Agency Process Team who will be honored with Bronze Awards. Among the NASA Civil Servants who will accept Contribution awards are: Joseph Lanasa, Cheryl Powell, Maureen Mathews, Walt Flournoy and Eugene Davidoff. These Goddard civil servants will join others awardees from all NASA Centers in a celebration of their achievement.

To accomplish PDM, NASA subscribed to Avue Digital Services Classification Module, a product of Avue Technologies, Inc. Also recognized will be individual contractors representing Avue Technologies, Inc., Quality Software Services, Inc., INDUS Technology, Inc., and Booze Allen & Hamilton. Avue Technologies, Inc. will also be recognized with an individual firm award.

Please join the NASA community in congratulating these individuals by attending and showing your support to your colleagues at the IFMP Awards Ceremony. The hard work of the award recipients for over one year deserve recognition and a round of applause from their fellow employees. If you plan to attend, RSVP to Patricia Pahlavani, IFMP Corporate Change Management Office, (202) 358-0863 or via e-mail at ppahlava@hq.nasa.gov.
