The Washington Post featured an article on the increased rate of melting ice sheets in Greenland. Waleed Abdalati of Goddard is quoted in the article describing the amount of coastal thinning in Greenland and explaining how NASA studies can help with predicting and understanding the changes.

Paul Newman, lead ozone researcher at Goddard, was a guest on WAMU's "Public Interest " program with host Kojo Nomdi explaining the recent observance of the annual ozone hole, which split into two separate holes this year.
