IFMP Launches Transmitter

The Goddard Integrated Financial Management Program (IFMP) launched the "IFMP Transmitter," their monthly newsletter, this Monday. Their goal for this publication is to provide yet another way for the Goddard workforce to stay informed about the Integrated Financial Management Program. In the first issue, Mark Walther, the GSFC IFMP Chief, explained the name of the publication by noting, "just as tracking and data relay satellites transmit communications between earth and earth-orbiting spacecraft, [IFMP] hopes to use this 'IFMP Transmitter' to relay the latest information between the IFM Program and you." The IFMP is an Agencywide effort to modernize NASA's financial and administrative systems and processes. It will implement Enterprise-wide Resource Planning capabilities and redesigned business processes in the form of Module Projects to help improve employee productivity and operations efficiency.
