March is Women's History Month

Goddard Celebrates - Women Pioneering the Future

Pioneers open or prepare the way for others to follow. Women are without a doubt pioneers and history paints a vivid picture of their journey. Women are advancing human knowledge and expertise in every field, from the arts and humanities to aviation, sports, science, and government. Please join the Goddard Women's Advisory Committee in celebration of women and their tenacity, perseverance, and resilience.

Wednesday, March 26, 2003 Building 33, Room H114 10:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon

Advancing Women
You won't want to miss this session. A panel of Goddard's women and men come
together to discuss challenges impacting the advancement of women in the workplace.

Discussions will include 2003 workplace realities, overcoming communication
barriers, the value of networking and mentoring, taking risks, balance, and
technology - the edge you need. Come be a part of the solution. Mid-morning
coffee awaits you.

You are invited and encouraged to e-mail questions for the panel, in advance, to
Maureen.P.Madden@nasa.gov or Fran.C.Teel@nasa.gov. Be sure to specify the applicable session date.

All employees, private and civil servant, are invited to attend and participate. Goddard Executive management supports and encourages your active attendance at the specially scheduled events. For sign language interpreter see hhtp:/terpschedule.gsfc.nasa.gov
