Educator Astronaut Report Card: Is It In the Mail?

Many of us are busy preparing our tax forms to make the April deadline. The Educator Astronaut Program (EAP) application and nomination deadline is April 30th.

Teachers: Don't miss this out-of-this-world opportunity to become permanent members of the NASA Astronaut Corps.

Educators with backgrounds is science, technology, engineering or mathematics have the chance to join NASA's first class of Educator Astronauts. Selected individuals will perform all the jobs and responsibilities of Mission Specialist Astronauts. They will be trained to perform spacewalks, operate the Space Shuttle's robotic arm and lead research experiments. Educator Astronauts will also share their extraordinary experience with millions of students and teachers.

The Educator Astronaut Program has received 6677nominations to date.
