Space
and Cosmic Ray Physics Seminar
What:
Harm Moraal, Potchefstroom University, South Africa will present
on "Some Current Topics in Cosmic Ray Modulation Studies."
The heliospheric modulation of cosmic rays has been studied for
many decades. Moraal's group primary contribution is to make numerical
solutions of the cosmic ray transport equation that describes this
process. Moraal will briefly describe two recent initiatives to
make these neutron monitor observations of the modulation significantly
more useful.
