What:
ADOBE and PDF: Do you generate PDF documents? Did you know that
depending on how you create them, they may not be accessible by
everyone? Come hear representatives from Adobe talk about paper
to digital solutions, creating accessible forms, and making your
PDF documents more accessible.

Fish Fry
What:
Blacks in Government (BIG) GSFC/WFF Chapter Region XI invites all
Goddard employees to a lunchtime fish fry meal. Meals are $6.00
and includes: fish (2pcs.), potato salad, bread, soda, green beans
and condiments. In addition two door prizes will be given.

Special
Information Science and Technology Colloquium
What:
The Information Science and Technology (IS&T) colloquium will
have a special conclusions. The Excellence in IS&T Award ceremony
and reception will be held. The Excellence in IS&T award recognizes
Goddard employee(s) who best exhibits broad, significant contributions
to Goddard programs or projects in the areas of information, science
and technology This award also recognizes career achievement or
a specific act of exceptional merit. In addition to the award ceremony,
Dr Larry Smarr, Director of the California Institute for Telecommunications
and Information Technology, University of Calif at San Diego will
present on: "Planetary Computing."

Colloquium
Who:
Dr. Steve Adubato, four time winning Emmy award broadcaster, syndicated
newspaper columnist author and speaker will reveal his secrets to
being a great communicator in a way that will dramatically change
the way you talk, listen and connect with others. Dr. Adubato discussion
will stem from his new book, Speak from the Heart: Be Yourself and
Get Results. What really counts is making an authentic connection
with other people, not merely from the intellect, but form the heart.

Lunchtime Concert
What:
Eurest Dinning Services, Ms. Amanda Cobern and staff invites you
to enjoy the first Spring time Cookout, while listening to and enjoying
the Lunchtime Concert. Ms. Jolyn Laverty Nace (Vocalist) of Management
Operations Directorate, Code 200 will open this year's 2003, Lunchtime
Concert with songs from the "Big Band" era (Harry James,
Tommy Dorsey and Glen Miller).

for Supervisors and the IDP Workshop for Employees, many questions

Children
Fishing Derby
What:
The Goddard Sport Fishing Club is sponsoring their 6th Annual Kids
Fishing Derby. Cost is $5 per contestant, bait and beverages included,
and prizes for the largest fish are awarded for each age category.
At the conclusion of the derby, there will be a picnic for all attendees.
Limited fishing equipment is available for loan during the Derby.
When/Where:
Saturday, May 31 at 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Goddard Pond. Space
is limited and registration is required.
