International Space Station Trailers at Healthfest 2003

June 21-22, 10am-3pm, National Mall, between 3rd and 4th Streets. Walk through a mock-up of the International Space Station at Healthfest, organized by the Biotechnology Industry Organization. Healthfest will have over 100 interactive exhibits and fun, educational activities for all ages. NBA Wizards star Jerry Stackhouse will be shooting hoops to promote healthy habits. Awards of Excellence

Nominations to be considered for the second Annual Awards of Excellence must be submitted to the Awards Office, Code 114, by c.o.b., Monday, June 23, 2003. Call for Papers - 6th MAPLD International Conference

Abstracts are being accepted for the 6th annual Military and Aerospace Programmable Logic Devices (MAPLD) International Conference. Programmable devices, technologies and related aspects of digital engineering will comprise the major emphasis of this conference.

This year, there will be a special emphasis on papers with the following themes:

  • Reliability of Hardware and Designs; Fault Tolerance
  • Reconfigurable/Adaptive Computing Systems
  • Long-term Space Missions: > 15 Years
  • Hardware and Software: The line is blurring
  • Radiation Hardening by Design
  • Digital Signal Processing with Programmable Devices
  • Design Security
  • "War Stories" and Lessons Learned

The event will occur on September 9-11, 2003 at the Reagan Building and International Trade Center, Washington, D.C.

NASA Day at King's Dominion
