Mail Awareness Seminar

The Logistics Management Division will be holding a Mail Awareness seminar on Tuesday, July 15th in the building 1 training facility, room E100E. The one-day event will include the following speakers and topics:

• Joan Bender of the General Services Administration will cover "Protecting Your Employees and Securing Your Mail Center" at 9:15 a.m.,
• A United States Postal Service representative will cover "Addressing the Future" to discuss proper addressing techniques, at 10:45 a.m. and
• Dave Cox of the Federal Bureau of Investigation will cover various types of explosive devices and use of the X-ray machine in detecting such devices at 1:00 PM.

Each presentation is expected to last 45 minutes with time for questions and answers afterwards. In addition, the GSFC Mail Service Center (MSC) will be providing information regarding Center related mail issues. Refreshments will be served and the event is open to all employees. Please come join us for any or all of the above presentations and participate in these interesting topics.
