Former Senator-Astronaut Garn Visits Goddard

Former Senator-Astronaut E.J. "Jake" Garn visited Goddard last Friday. Garn is a strong supporter of education and has volunteered countless hours inspiring future scientists, engineers and space explorers which he continued when he met with the summer interns at Goddard.

In addition, Garn toured the Center and gave an interesting presentation on his extraordinary experience as US Senator and NASA Astronaut.
