Although the rain delayed the start of the double header Bowie Baysox's game, it didn't dampen dozens of Goddard employees and thousands of spectators from attending this event. Goddard Night with the Bowie Baysox was held last Friday at Prince George's Stadium, home of the Bowie Baysox. Employees from the Public Affairs office hit-it-home with informative material about Goddard and the Centennial of Flight that thousands of interested attendees eagerly seized. In addition, Center Director Al Diaz delivered one right across home plate with an honorary "first pitch" before the start of the second game. The hometown Baysox won both games.
