"We recognize that NASA is a unique organization and Sean O'Keefe is the right man for the job," said Representative Mollohan at NASM event.

Members of the Goddard community and NASA Head-quarters gathered at the National Air and Space Museum (NASM), Washington, D.C., September 17 for an evening of recognition, reflections and to promote a continued relationship with private industry.

The annual gathering, sponsored by the Goddard Space Flight Center Contractor Association, is an opportunity to recognize Goddard's leadership role in the Earth and Space Science missions that are accomplished for NASA at Goddard.

Special guests for the evening included United States House of Representative, Alan Mollohan; NASA Administrator, Sean O'Keefe; Goddard Center Director, Al Diaz; and Dr. Edward Weiler, NASA Associate Administrator for Space Science.

Following a buffet reception in the Space Hall Gallery, more than 600 invited guest made their way into the IMAX Theater where General John Daley, USMC (Ret.), director for the museum, gave the welcome address for the evening's program.
