Alison McNally speaks to employees at CFC program

The Goddard 2003 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) was kicked off with a rally on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 in the building 8 auditorium. The program began with Chris Beidel, Goddard CFC manager explaining how being apart of the CFC has given him the opportunity to see the benefits from CFC. Then Associate Director, Alison McNally addressed the audience by encouraging employees to "take the time to give." McNally also expressed how positive she is about the Center meeting its goal for this year since last year the Center fell short of 2% from meeting the $475,000 goal. A short film was shown of federal colleagues who are contributors to CFC and have benefited from receiving support from a non-profitable organization. In addition, a few representatives from non-profitable organizations were present to give information about the services they provided.

The CFC is the annual fund-raising drive conducted by federal employees in their workplace each fall. Each year federal employees and military personnel raise millions of dollars through the CFC that benefits thousands of non-profit charities. Your opportunity to contribute to this year's CFC is October 14 through November 7.
