Town Hall Draws a Crowd
Over 50 people
crowded into the Building 1 Training Room last Tuesday to ask questions
of members of the IFMP Team, and discuss the progress of IFMP. While
most questions were about Full Cost Accounting, the topics included
budgeting tools, handling vendors in the system, budget formulation
service pools, and the procurement module. There was a lively exchange
of ideas and information, and several participants stayed after
the session to talk with the IFMP team individually.
"The session
was very constructive," said Mark Walther, the IFMP
Chief. "The participants have a lot on their minds. A session
like this helps to alleviate a lot of anxiety because we can get
to a fairly specific level of detail. What we couldn't answer in
the session, we took the action item and will get back to everyone
later."
In fact, the
highlights of the afternoon's discussion -- and follow up to open
questions -- will be posted to the IFMP website in the coming days.
The next Town Hall session is being planned for the first week in
December, immediately after the November 30th Go-Live of WebTADS.
