Goddard Library Presents "The Race for Security" with NASA's First General Counsel, Paul G. Dembling

Employees are invited to a special panel session with Paul G. Dembling, Esq., NASA's first General Counsel and the primary author of the Space Act of 1958. In the program, "The Race for Security," Mr. Dembling will be joined by Orlando Sentinel reporter, Mr. Jim Leusner to talk about the Space Act of 1958 and the similarities and differences in the creation of two Executive Branch departments: NASA & the Department of Homeland Security. This topic was the focus of a five-part front page series in the Sentinel, co-authored by Mr. Leusner, which will be on display in the library. The panel session will be followed by a question and answer period.
