Goddard Television
- Overview:
Goddard Television's vision is to produce and communicate knowledge about our study of the
Earth and Space; sharing NASA and Goddard, its missions, programs, discoveries, experts,
and facilities with 245 million Americans and other TV viewers around the globe. We take
our news and contributions to society beyond the campus gates and into people's homes so
they can participate, share in, and benefit from Goddard's exploration and understanding
of the Earth and Space. Information on Goddard Television:

- Copyright Guidelines For Use
of NASA Materials: Most of NASA's video products are not copyrighted unless
otherwise indicated. However, there ARE some general guidelines for usage of NASA
materials.
NASA Television Programming Schedule
- NTV Video file: This
advisory to the news media describes the most current audio and video resource material of
Agency events. (Please check Late Breaking News to get last-minute updates.) The
video file airs.weekdays at noon (Eastern Standard or Daylight Time), with replays at 3
p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
- Late Breaking News: When press
conferences, new material for the Video File and other events are added to the NTV
schedule, they will be posted here. This file will only be updated as needed.
- Updated NTV Schedule for Space
Shuttle missions: During Space Shuttle missions, a TV schedule combining mission
events and other NTV items is updated periodically. This link will not be updated between
the last revision for one mission and the first schedule for the next. A mission's first
TV schedule (designated Rev. A) is usually available three days before launch. (Future Shuttle Mission
Schedule.)
- NASA Television Gallery: The
NASA Gallery is a look at the early years of NASA, as well as replays of more recent
events. The NASA Gallery airs weekdays at 1 p.m. (Eastern Standard or Daylight Time), with
replays at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Gallery may be preempted by other events.
- Education
File: Provided by NASA's Spacelink, this
schedule of programming is specifically designed for students and teachers. The
Educational File airs weekdays at 2 p.m. (Eastern Standard or Daylight Time), with replays
at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The Education file may be preempted by other events.
- Earth Views: Space Shuttle Earth images are available at the conclusion of each Video
File package until the end of the hour. Earth Views are also available from 3 a.m. - 6
a.m. (Eastern)
