Space Science Data Operations Office (SSDOO)
The SSDOO is part of the Space Science Directorate at NASA Goddard
Space Flight Center. It serves various space science missions in
processing, archiving, and disseminating data.

The Space Science Enterprise Strategic Plan
The mission of the Space Science Enterprise is to solve mysteries
of the universe, explore the solar system, discover planets around
other stars, search for life beyond Earth; from origins to destiny,
chart the evolution of the universe and understand its galaxies,
stars, planets, and life.
Spaceflight website - Explores manned space flight from
Mercury to the International Space Station.
GSFC International Space Station (ISS) Research Program Office
- This site provides information on the ISS, relating specifically
to the role played by the Office of Earth Science and the Office
of Space Science.
Sun-Earth
Connection - NASA's Space Science enterprise is organized
into four themes.
The Sun-Earth Connection (SEC) theme seeks to discover:
- Why
does the Sun vary?
- How
do the planets respond to solar variations?
- How
do the Sun and galaxy interact?
- How
does solar variability affect life and society?
Living
with a Star is a new initiative within the SEC theme with
the goal of developing scientific understanding needed to effectively
address those aspects of the SEC which directly affect life and
society.
Structure
and Evolution of the Universe
The Structure and Evolution of the Universe (SEU) theme seeks to:
-
Explain the structure of the Universe, and forecast our cosmic
destiny
-
Explore the cycles of matter and energy in the evolving Universe
-
Examine the ultimate limits of gravity and energy in the Universe

Space Science Laboratory
The Space Science Laboratory is responsible for coordinating, directing
and conducting original and supporting research in disciplines such
as Space science; solar and space plasma physics; high energy astrophysics,
infrared astronomy and cryogenic physics.
Electronic Astrophysical Journal
Astronomers get a peek at what the future holds by checking North
America's premier astrophysics journal on line. The American Astronomical
Society(AAS) and the University of Chicago Press, with funding from
the National Science Foundation, created the first Web-based journal
for reporting astronomical research results.
