SUNDAY, AUG. 27, 1 P.M.

GODDARD SPACE FLIGHT CENTER "DISCOVER GODDARD" PRESENTATION: "SPARTAN AND 
ULYSSES:  A JOURNEY TO THE HELIOSPHERE" 

	Spartan, a project that works with the Space Shuttle to permit 
short-duration, free-flight opportunities  for a variety of scientific 
studies, is the topic of this month's presentation.  Dr.  Richard Fisher, 
of the Laboratory for Astronomy and Solar Physics, will speak on this 
valuable program at the Visitor Center.

	The Goddard Space Flight Center Visitor Center is located on 
Soil Conservation Road in  Greenbelt, Md.  Admission is free.  For further
