GODDARD SPACE FLIGHT CENTER VISITOR CENTER MODEL ROCKET 
LAUNCH

SUNDAY, SEPT. 3, AT 1 P.M.

	Many people discovered the fun of model rocket launching this summer, and the 
fun continues this fall. Launch your model rockets at the Goddard Space Flight Center 
Visitor Center where, for more than 16 years, people of all ages have enjoyed launching 
their own model rockets. Bring your own rocket or just come out and enjoy watching the 
other rocket enthusiasts. All launches are monitored for safety and are held weather 
permitting.

	The Visitor Center is located in Greenbelt, Md., on Soil Conservation Road and is 
open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. For further information, call  (301)
