SUNDAY, SEPT. 17, 9 A.M. TO 4 P.M.

GODDARD SPACE FLIGHT CENTER VISITOR CENTER "COMMUNITY 
DAY"

	Goddard Space Flight Center Visitor Center is hosting "Community Day" Sunday, 
Sept. 17, and we want you to share in the fun and excitement.  The Visitor Center will be 
open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for special events throughout the day.  Buses offering special 
guided tours of the Goddard Center will leave the Visitor Center from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 
p.m.  Tours will include the Spacecraft Systems Development and Integration Facility, 
Spacecraft Test and Integration Facility, the Goddard Spacecraft Fabrication Facility, the 
Hubble Space Telescope Control Center, and the NASA Communication (NASCOM) 
Switching Center.  Family entertainment will be provided throughout the day including a 
living in space presentation, a Control-line Model Airplane demonstration, a special 
model rocket launch and a Hubble Space Telescope Operations presentation.  All events
