The briefing will originate from the Kennedy Space Center, FL, and will be carried live on NASA TV with two-way question and answer capability from participating NASA locations. Launch is scheduled for early November. Scientists on the panel will be: Dr. Alan Bunner, NASA Headquarters, Washington, DC Dr. Rick Rothschild, University of California at San Diego Dr. Richard Mushotzky, Goddard Space Flight Center, MDDr. Fred Lamb, University of Illinois Immediately following the science panel, XTE Project Manager Dale Schulz will conduct a briefing about the spacecraft from Hangar AO at Cape Canaveral Air Station.
