NASA AWARDS TRACKING EQUIPMENT CONTRACT TO 
ALLIEDSIGNAL
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Wallops Flight
Facility, Wallops Island, VA, has awarded a contract to>AlliedSignal Technical Services Corp., Columbia, 
MD, for the
autonomous Low-Earth Orbit Terminal (LEO-T) ground systems.
The contract is a fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a maximum value of 
$28,693,686.
LEO-T systems are remotely controlled satellite tracking systems which automatically and autonomously 
track satellites orbiting the Earth at an altitude of less than 600 miles.  The systems will include an antenna, 
radome housing, and ground station equipment to support downlink and uplink transmission capabilities.
