NASA SELECTS TWO COMPANIES TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR GODDARD'S EARTH SCIENCES DIRECTORATE

NASA has selected Research and Data Systems Corporation of Greenbelt, Md and Science Systems and Applications, Inc. of Lanham, Md. to provide administrative, computing, engineering and scientific support to the Laboratory for Terrestrial Physics in the Earth Sciences Directorate located at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

These five-year contracts are performance-based Cost-Plus- Incentive-Fee Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contracts. The contractors will provide research and operations via competitively placed task orders. Each task order may be placed on one or more of the following: cost, schedule and/or performance. The minimum dollar value of each contract is $200,000 and the maximum value is $43,000,000.

The provided support will include, but is not limited to, mission planning; requirements and analysis; systems definition; evaluation of existing systems; development of new software; programming; algorithm development; and acquiring, processing and analyzing scientific data.
