LANHAM FIRM PICKED TO SUPPLY SUPPORT TO EARTH SCIENCE AT GODDARD

NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md., has selected Science Systems and Applications, Inc. of Lanham, Md., to provide support to the Climate and Radiation Branch within the Laboratory for Atmospheres in the Earth Sciences Directorate located at the Goddard Center. Support will be in four major areas: Climate Diagnostics and Modeling; Clouds and Radiation; Remote Sensing; and Data Management, Network Administration, Technical Assistance.

The provided support will include, but is not limited to, modeling, simulations and analysis of the Earth’s climate and radiation involving aerosols, clouds, precipitation, atmospheric and surface radiation, climate dynamics and remote sensing of atmospheric and surface parameters.

This five-year contract is Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity with performance based task orders. The minimum ordering value is $50,000 and the maximum ordering value is $15,000,000. The contract will be effective Feb. 1, 2000 for a five-year period of performance, to include a 30-day phase-in period.
