NASA SELECTS INDUS CORPORATION FOR BUSINESS APPLICATIONS AND SUSTAINING ENGINEERING (BASE) SERVICES CONTRACT

NASA has selected INDUS Corporation of Vienna, Va. for the award of a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The new contract consists of a two-year basic performance period and one, three-year option.

INDUS, a small disadvantaged 8(a) business, will provide program management, computer operations, business infrastructure and applications development and sustaining engineering support services at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. beginning February 1, 2002.

Total contract value for the two-year basic period is $11,879,986, with an additional IDIQ maximum amount of $10 million. The three-year option, if exercised by NASA, would total $18,604,703, and provide for an additional
$15 million IDIQ maximum
