Is there a web site where I can zoom-in on any spot on the Earth and see what it looks like?

One place I know of is Microsoft's Terra Server which has, I am told, over 1 terrabyte of satellite and other imagery of nearly every point on the earth, and you can zoom-in on most of this to view your city block or street. You probably need a rather fast interface to make it worthwhile!

This week's question is provided by the Astronomy Cafe and Dr. Sten Odenwald (Raytheon STX) for the NASA IMAGE/POETRY project.
